Irish Coffee ============ Ingredients ----------- - 15 cl fresh hot coffee - 1 tblsp brown sugar - 30 ml whiskey - 15 ml thick cream Method ------ - preheat a footed mug with hot water for a minute, then pour it away - pour hot coffee into the glass (if using turkish coffee, filter it through a thick gauze) - add brown sugar and stir to dissolve it - blend in whiskey - pour cream gently over the back of a spoon to top it with a collar Serving ------- Serve hot in a footed mug or a transparent coffee cup. Variants -------- a) Use 30ml of Bailey's instead of the cream. Skip the sugar.
